The mission of the Office of Continuing Medical Education, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, is to support the continuing education needs of community practitioners in all areas of clinical practice and surgery by providing interactive state-of-the-art programs which are focused on the improvement of the quality of patient care. The Office of CME currently organizes approximately 60 courses each year which are chaired by UCLA faculty members and taught by a combination of UCLA faculty as well as national and international experts in different fields. In addition to the live courses, CME works closely with faculty in the development of CD-ROMs, monographs, videos, audiocassettes, and satellite broadcasts.
